Bottlecap Legends – Take your turn [0.4]

Published by

on

Bottlecap Legends is a hot-seat multi-player top-down turn-based racing game inspired by traditional Colombian street games.

In the game, you can challenge up to 3 friends to flick bottlecaps to the finish line, keeping them inside the track as it bends around the geography of Colombia.

You can play online for free at https://slash.itch.io/1977-bottlecap-legends

Version 0.4 is our submission for GameJam+ 23/24 Incubation phase!

We had already done most of the progress for v0.3, so this version includes two big changes that seek to make the game rules much clearer and improve the flow of the game.

  • Turn order is now enforced! the game lists the players, and whose turn is currently. Only that player can flick the cap.
  • When a player crosses the finish line, it will be marked as such and its rank will be displayed.

We have sent the updated pitch to the jurors as well, so we’ll see how it goes 🙂
