Just yesterday, while driving, I was thinking of my entry for Magical Mirai Procon for this year and how I completely missed the point of the theme (“Fun trip with friends”). Only several months afterwards I came up with an idea that could have worked better. It’s too late.
This morning I was just contacted by piapro, the organizers of the event. They sent an email to all the participants, inviting them to read on the summary of this year’s event, as well as to submit their entries into their newly available apps portal.
This programming contest has the tagline “decorate the creative culture with the power of programming (プログラミングの力で創作文化を彩ろう!)” which was realized with the help of your submission. It was indeed a special and wonderful opportunity for us to explore the future of music and content creation with you.
Once again, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your contribution.
So I went ahead and submitted my entry for their new apps portal; as part of this, this also means the app is now open source so you can see how it came to be. I’m pretty happy of how we managed to make it work using bare HTML+SVG+CSS without any canvas rendering. More details about that in the previous blog post from August.

Thru the blog, I came to learn there were 63 entries total, out of which 10 were selected as finalists (ours wasn’t). Half of the entries (that is, 31.5 entries) were from overseas; we were there and will likely be there again next year.
So, you can now find the game in their portal as well.
