Senatus: Days LXIII, LXIV

I activated the “walking” triggered events, that is events you can participate without entering any location, just roaming around… we still need more of this and get them up to date with the current design for the stats.

Alongside this, since these events don’t have a header image, I added dynamic height calculation for the events popup, it really was bothering me how fully vertically stretched it looked with the super empty buttons.

I’m also now showing the outcomes of the events (something I missed from the initial public demo), which meant I had to alter the flow a bit so that this is displayed in a separate popup after selecting the option in the event popup; this was in preparation to the addition of the coin flip animation to make waiting for the event outcome more exciting – Tried to make it a bit procedural but ended up quite simplistic with a normal Unity animation controller.

I still gotta animate the vertical “toss” animation for the coin, to make it feel more alive, and we also need to fix the event texts so that the outcomes of the events don’t show an outdated, redundant stats outcome.

I still gotta integrate more art assets sent by awa, as he continues working in the remaining buildings and some animations for the debate intro.
