Senatus: Day LXVII

Besides coordinating work with the artist, not much was done today; however I also had to pack the event files for the designer, and improved Senatus Studio a bit to better handle JSON syntax errors.

Interestingly, while smoke testing the new data, I found out some missing event texts in Japanese? maybe for the new events? I had to go there and fix them… but strangely it refused to pick up the changes even when I could see them in the localization bundles?

I guess it’ll make sense to add a runtime check to Senatus when the localization files are being loaded? at least in development mode.

Since I was going to send a new version to the team for QA, I shipped a small change to make “random movement” events unique (don’t repopulate pool, unlike the “location” events.) as well as make use of the error sound effect in the card selection screen.

Anyways, version 0.0.11 is on their hands – getting closer to the next demo milestone.
