Hospital Anomaly Tactics – Day 4

Published by

on

I saw some Animal Hospital Anomaly gameplay videos yesterday, so I’m emulating the main loop; it seems the charm of the game (at least initially) is doing repetitive chores (I can understand the appeal) before things go to hell; not sure how much I’m going to be able to put before the deadline, considering this weekend is my daughter’s birthday and so much stuff going on.

As I was testing this I noticed the UX needed to be streamlined, so I removed the default separate mode coming from JSRL and instead put a permanent shorter inventory on the HUD, Tab changes the selected item while enter uses it.

But we need a game, and I need to push towards that even if the steps are small and miserable. For now I added gold you get when healing someone, and patients dying if you don’t cure them quick enough (plus a counter of deaths).

I need to make it so that patients keep coming every x turns.
