CastlevaniaRL 2: Part 1: The Lady of Berkeley, is a traditional, top-down, turn-based roguelike, with fixed overworld and procedurally generated dungeons. Roam the countryside traveling between the towns, finding clues to destroy Dracula, and the mansions, where the relics of Dracula are found.
Originally made for 7DRL 2024. This is a minor patched version, fixing some gameplay bugs. The original submission has been placed here
Critical gameplay fixes
- Allow equipping weapons
- Fix the overabundance of healing items in the caverns and mansions
- Disable attack, jump and grab commands in the overworld
- Scale canvas to fill window [acquired from JSRL]
- Increase key repeat interval by 50ms to prevent double inputs [acquired from SpelunkyRL]
- Make trees opaque

- Prompt to Press space on ambush
- Disable holy water effect
- Show “Press ?” help message after intro
- Remove inventory screen background
