Berlin Interpretation 1992 – Day 25, throwing items.

I changed the pattern of the modal mask so it now you can see what is behind through the dithering.

You can also now drink potions of poison to get poisoned (which will be fun when id-by-use is finally in), as well as potions of cure poison (boring!).

You can also now throw items from your inventory in a given direction. Wasn’t as straightforward – ran out of gemini3 tokens and tried to use a gemini2 model but the difference was abysmal (both in speed, stability (had to trigger the specs several times) and results (they were incomplete and incorrect). Ended up reimplementing most of it.

There are still some things to do to consider throwing items completed: applying potions effects or damage to monsters when hit by items, landing items in a spiral cascade when there is one already at the landing position.

After that is done, I’ll release a new version. Future developments will include the remaining status effects.
