Senatus – Dies LXXI

It’s been a while since the last update here – it’s not that nothing was being done but certainly it hadn’t materialized in code – so here we are.

The first task at hand is completing navigation in Rome; agua has already sent the banners for all the locations so it’s time to integrate that art and configure all the locations in the map so the player can navigate into them.

All buildings are now unlocked – and connected with straight paths for now

Of course, since the map doesn’t fit on a single screen, I added the possibility to pan/drag the map around.

You can now walk around all of Rome, which is fun.

Next up:

  • Integrate new pack of events tied to the new locations and test them
  • Localize all the new events
  • Implement reward preview per location
  • Program achievements
  • Integrate updated UI assets
  • Implement mentor character
  • Program animated transition to debate
  • Infrastructure for hardcoded tutorial
