It was a busy day at work and with family, but end of day it was time to get to work as Alcaraz sent a new version of Miku’s model including the winking controllers and a new WIP idle pose. So I integrated them.
I also brought Dinti into the team (he’s a music artist from Cali, Colombia – we’ve also worked together in many jam entries already) to work alongside quietgecko (maybe?) to have a chill theme for the title/loading/instructions (or maybe for photo review / instructions?) time is super short, hopefully we’ll manage to get something out.
Here’s the reference I sent to them to the kind of music I image would fit there.
I also noticed that the instructions for Desktop when entering the loading screen are missing now – maybe I removed them by mistake while shuffling things around for mobile, ugh.
I called forth in a local Japan enthusiasts group to see if someone would be up to do the logo or UI art, but didn’t get any answer. Also contacted friend Sara Rios back, she said she’s still interested to work in the UI, but we’ll need to coordinate.
Finally, I also integrated the new Idle animation, and in the process also fixed the transitions between poses which was a bit jumpy and awkward, it’s now fluid. Miku looks a bit more lively every time.
